Busy Weekend Day 1: Reunited at my place!!!

Saturday after work, I went straight to TriNoma to meet up with the LDD Collections peeps of PeopleSupport Baguio who are now here in Manila. Aileen and I planned this party for days, a reunion of sorts. Buti naman na we were able to pull it off given the time constraints and schedule conflicts. Bisi-bisihan kasi kaming lahat. Corporate junkies kumbaga?

Anyway, the food was sponsored by me and Aileen. So we went grocery shopping first because I needed ingredients to make Carbonara. YES I KNOW HOW TO COOK! At ayan ang mga pinagbibibili namin. At dahil medyo iba ang taste ni Aileen eh gusto nya ng Pistachio flavored ice cream na dapat daw Selecta. Choosy no? Pero dahil walang stock sa trinoma, bumili kami ng cookies and cream na may naka mix na coffee crumble.

Eto sila. Mga walang kasing kulit.

And because I dont have a cheese grater at home, Crystal had to grate the cheese using a fork. Ako naman nagslislice ng mushrooms, si Aileen naka-pose lang talaga dyan.

Ingredients. Bow.

While cooking the sauce, Amy and I were catching up on each others lives kasi we haven't seen each other in a long time. Nagdramahan kami ni Amy habang nagluluto ako. hahaha

At habang nagluluto kami, etong tatlo eh parelax relax lang. Sarap paulanan ng bala eh. hahaha

This is what Amy refers to as "The Weirdest Way To Cook".

Here's the Carbonara. Sa mga hindi naniniwalang marunong akong magluto, y'all can zip it.

Yes we also bought fried chicken. Bucket of 15. Dami pang natira.

Dinner time.

The late Gabs... I mean, "ang na-late na si Gabs". As in 3 hours late.

Amy and her hooters...plus Aileens bag.

This is our group picture and we're gonna send it to Marlene Moorman our boss before. Too bad she isnt back here yet. We miss you a lot Marlene please get your ass back here.

Leftovers. Pati si Gabs sumuko hahaha.

Ang mahiwagang strawberry wine na dala ni Amy para sa amin.

It was a night to remember. Seems just like yesterday that we were all working together. Has it really been two years? Unbelievable. I'm happy na kahit 2 years, eh magkakaibigan parin kami and we still get together every now and then. I loved our team, and even though we all have separate lives now, I'm glad that the bond is still there. Present that night were from Wave 1, 2, and 3 of LDD Collections plus our Supervisor and Trainer. One big happy family.

They left my place at around 3:30 and they went to Timog daw. I wanted to join them but I had to be somewhere in the morning. Gaya nga ng sinabi ko, bisi-bisihan kami. Sayang lang kasi now we go back to reality, living our own separate lives. Till next time guys. The house is always open for you.
