Graduation Day!!!

Last Saturday, October 24, 2009 I graduated from college. After 5 long years I finally finished my degree. This semester has been very tiring for me but all of my hard work paid off. This is a little different from the one posted on my Facebook because there are some people mentioned here that aren't in my facebook account but I think they read my blog until now.

First I want to thank my MOM who has been with me every step of the way. She paid for my education for as long as I can remember. She has sacrificed a lot including her own happiness and her own time to give me the life I have become accustomed to and to bring me where I am now. Words will never be enough to tell her how grateful I am that among the billions of women in this earth, she became my mother. She has given me unconditional love and support and I will always treasure that. There are times when we dont see each other eye to eye, and we argue about things but at the end of the day, she will always be the woman who gave up so much to ensure my happiness and to make sure that I have a good life up to now. Thank you mom.

To my bestfriend Jacky, Bes thank you for the many years of friendship, patience, understanding, and love that you have given me. You taught me many things and made me realize more. I am happy that I have someone like you in my life. Not only were you a friend, a groupmate, a confidant, you were a sister to me in more ways than one. You know me inside out, and you can read me with your eyes closed. You have supported my decisions and showed me humility and compassion during the darkest of my days You have inspired me to be the best that I can be so you will forever have my gratitude.

To Jedidiah Regacho, a fellow graduate, thank you for being a wonderful friend ever since our SLU days. Now that we are entering a new phase in our lives, maintain the charisma and charm that we all love about you. I know that you will go places and that one day you will be big in the media industry.

To Marilyve Basali, I thank you for the patience and understading you have given me. I know I can be really hard to handle at times, but you never fail to amaze me. You are one of the smartest people I've met and the mere fact that you go out of your way to understand me and make me smile means so much to me.

To Reuben Rivero, thank you for the shipload of laughs and for being there through the good and the bad times. I already told you before, you are like a little brother or sister, whichever, and that I am always a txt or email away. I know you will be a big designer someday so never let the people who hate you bring you down. Always walk with your head high and always be fierce.

To Christine Balionga, thank you for the many years of friendship, for telling me when I do something wrong that I should make amends, for standing by me even if your friends dont like me. You are one of the few people here in Baguio that I look up to. I remember 3 years ago you told me that even though we are the complete opposite of one another we are still close friends and then you asked me why that is. Now I have an answer. A group or clique are people you hang out with and have fun with. Anyone can be part of your clique. A friend is someone who accepts you and understands you unconditionally despite your flaws and imperfections. A friend is someone who will be with you through the good and the bad times. And a friend is someone that even if you haven't seen in years would be someone you would talk to as if you just saw each other yesterday. Thats what we are...Friends...and I am grateful for the friendship you have given me.

To my Film and Theater groupmates, thank you for your support.

To the UB Voices, though it has only been months, I want to thank you guys for accepting me in the group and for recognizing the potential and talent I had. Thank you again for cheering for me during my graduation, It meant a lot that it came from the UB Voices. AGBIAG VOICES!!!

To my housemates Darnell, Marge, Sam, and Ken, you ARE my second family here in Baguio and I wouldn't have it any other way.

To Tiffy Escorpiso and Heidi Dolormente, my bestfriends at peoplesupport, thank you for being my parents, sisters, friends, everything when I was working, and thank you because up to this day, though we do not see each other regularly, we are still close as before.

To my instructors and professors, thank you for the knowledge you have given me over the past 5 years. I wouldnt be here right now without the knowledge you have imparted.

To everyone else who I haven't specifically mentioned, you know who you are, thank you.

To my Blog Readers, though I havent updated my blog in the longest time because of my busy schedule thank you for still supporting me.

Happy Graduation to me!
