Cebu-Bohol Trip 6: Bohol Bee Farm

After our day tour, Parker and I went back to the hotel for a quick nap.

I had to do a double-take because I thought I heard him wrong.

Apparently, the bee farm serves a salad freshly made from flowers.

The bee farm was far from the city. As in ang layo niya at ang dami pang pasikot-sikot papunta dun.

Pero pagdating namin dun, nagulat ako.

I was left speechless.

Tignan niyo naman kasi.

Shalan ang Bohol Bee Farm. Pangmayaman.

It's kamote bread tapos yung spread may choice ka kung mustard or pesto. Masarap siya. As in.

Dinner was good kahit na wala akong nakaing karne nung gabing yun.

The place was amazing and I was with Parker.

I never knew that a jewel like this place could be found in Bohol.

Oh and did I mention that this was a seaside resort?

Yes dear readers. Dinner by the sea ang drama.

Next time nalang siguro hihi.

=)

Cebu-Bohol Trip 6: Loboc River Cruise

The Loboc River Cruise was part of our day tour around Bohol.

Basically, what happens in the cruise is that for one hour, you'll be riding on a boat and going around the Loboc River. Oh, and it comes with a buffet.

When Parker and I were talking about what to do in Bohol, he requested that we take the cruise.

It was fine with me. May buffet eh.

Madali akong kausap pagdating sa ganyan.

The buffet costs 300php and there's an entrance fee of 100php.

Pwede narin I guess.

The food was kinnda okay. The selection wasn't that big which kinda sucks and it comes with only one drink at softdrinks pa. If you want water, a small bottle costs 30php.

Parker said that the shrimps were salty.

Ako naman I ate the pork thing which had so much fat in it, tinitignan ko palang inaatake na ako sa puso.

Oh yeah, on the cruise, if there's only two you, expect to share the table with other people unless you get there really early for the smaller tables.

May entertainment naman in fairness.

May production number din.

The lafang. Not the best buffet but the cruise was nice and relaxing.

The cruise wasn't as romantic as I expected but that's probably because it was 1 o'clock in the afternoon and we were seated with other people.

But I was with Parker.

That alone was romantic enough for me.

Cebu-Bohol Trip 5: Bohol Day Tour

Parker and I got up really early the next day because the driver was at the hotel at before 8.

Ang aga ni kuya promise.

The car we got was a Revo and the driver was named Nicholas.

I'll ask Parker if he has the contact number because the driver was really good.

He was a really good tourist guide, he was very patient with us, and he took us to so many places.

It was worth the amount we paid.

Since this is about the places we went to, I'll let the pictures do the talking.

Hanging Bridge

This was literally a bridge made out of bamboo hanging over a river.

Crossing the bridge costs 10php.

Its good for about the first 3 minutes.

And then it gets boring.

Tarsier Sanctuary

Walang entrance fee ang Tarsier Sanctuary but you had to make a "donation".

These furry creatures are the cutest things I've ever seen.

Just look at their beady eyes.

Chocolate Hills

It's true what they say, this place is unbelievably beautiful.

But the 217 flight of stairs I had to walk just to get to the top for a good view was unbelievably exhausting.

Plus I had to climb those damn stairs so medyo haggardness ako at this point.

Ang ganda diba? Ang sarap din ng hangin dito.

Fresh na fresh.

Nakaka rejuvinate.

Butterfly Sanctuary

The butterfly sanctuary tour was short but educational.

This is probably the gayest I could be in a picture.

Nothing special.

On to the next.

Albuquerque Python

Parker wanted to see the Python for some reason.

While Parker was busy admiring the python, I was watching the monkey.

When Parker came up to me, I learned something new.

Takot pala sa unggoy si Parker.

Baclayon Church

Apparently, this church is quite the tourist spot in Bohol. It's centuries old and it happens to be one of the oldest churches in the Philippines.

Its beautiful though. The church was built using coral stone.

Nakakatawa kasi bawal ang skimpy or revealing clothes.

Kaloka.

I find it ironic that I'm an atheist but I like going to churches when Im on vacation.

Does that mean I swing both ways?!

Anyway, next blog post will be about the Loboc River Cruise.
