Graduation Gift

This is the Nokia N78 which is Lyve's graduation gift to me. Well sort off. We exchanged phones. I gave her my Sony Ericsson W900i and in return she gives me this. Its an awesome phone. It has a 3.2 Megapixel Tessar Lens Camera. It has all the things I need in a phone and the most important thing is that it has Wifi Connectivity. The Navi Wheel is also a nice touch to the phone.

I've been nagging her for days that she hasnt given me a graduation gift yet until one night she was hanging at my house. We were watching House and talking over cigarettes. She said that she honestly couldn't think of anything to give me since I already have the things I want. I didnt know if I should be flattered or if I should change my lifestyle. I nagged her to swith phones with me and that'll be my graduation gift from her.

Since she says that she's not really particular about cellphones and I wanted something new to play with, after 2 hours of haggling with her she agreed to switch phones with me under the conditions that:

1.) No takebacks.
2.) She wont shoulder and repairs the N78 needs and I dont shoulder any repairs needed by the W900i in case the phones bug down.
3.) I have to buy my own memory card since she wont give me the 4gig memory card.
4.) I give her the USB Cable of the W900i.

Both phones were in good condition, we checked it ourselves.

I love this new phone. Plus I wont get rid of it even if I get a new phone in the future for the mere fact that it was a gift from someone so it has more value than a brand new phone. I would like to take this chance to thank Lyve for the many years of friendship and patience she has given me. Trust me, she is VERY patient with me and she understands me even on my extremely neurotic-bible thumping-racist-xenophobe days. She has stood by my side and has always had my back even though I have hurt her a lot of times in the past. I know that there is nothing I could do that could repay her for everything she's done for me. But it doesn't mean that I can't try.

Thanks Lyve.
