Well, goodbye S3, hello Note 2.
I bought a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 as a birthday gift to myself. Here's how it happened, for about 3 months now my Galaxy S3 has been bugging down. It had something to do with a software update. Apparently, that version of Android was buggy with the S3. The phone still had about 3 months warranty but it'll take a month to have the phone repaired and I knew that I would be buying a phone eventually so I sold my S3 and bought a Note 2.
To be fair, I had my S3 for 8 months which is a long time compared to other phones I've had. I think the longest I've held on to a phone was with my iPhone 4 which I had for a year.
I loved the S3 when I got it and now I love the Note 2. The screen is just right for me, although I still have a hard time texting every now and then.
I must say, this phone was worth it. When I posted a picture of it on Facebook, Derek said that it can't be a birthday gift because I bought it waaaay before my birthday. To be fair, I don't think 2 weeks before my birthday is a long time. Just sayin'.
So, yey! I have a new toy to play with.

Good thing you bought Samsung Galaxy Note 2—it's probably the hottest tablet in town today. Enjoy your new toy and keep posting.
Phablets' are really the hottest gadgets in town nowadays, and it's great you got yourself a Samsung Galaxy Note 2. It's quite a big phone to handle, and it would really take time for you to get used to it. Anyway, belated happy birthday to you. Have a good one!
