Lyve and I had dinner at Pizza Volante. Since I dont like their Pizza, I order what I always order. Pesto on Pasta. Lyve ordered Pasta Alfredo. For some reason she was in the mood to treat me for dinner. It was a free dinner, who am I to refuse. LOL.

Globe Broadband Tattoo
A few days ago I bought Globe Broadband Tattoo and I didnt blog about it yet because I wanted to test it. Before this I was using SMARTBRO Prepaid which was a worthless piece of crap that disconnects every 7 minutes yet charges me for the whole 30 minutes and was even slower than dial-up. I called the tech support of SmartBro a hundred times asking them to help me get my connection faster but they kept on giving me bullshit answers and one agent, this lockjawed bitch from hell even hanged up on me. I called again and complained about her and the agent that assisted my call was obviously covering up for her saying that the avaya lines are unstable. Does she think that Im stupid??? I was a callcenter agent, the avaya is an IPphone and if their lines were unstable, they wont be able to take in calls immediately. Moving on, this is about Globe Tattoo not Smart Bro which is a worthless piece of crap.
I used the money my uncle gave me to buy Globe Tattoo. Instead of spending on some stupid thing like clothes or food, I decided to buy this.
So far it has been AWESOME. Its really fast no matter what time I use it. I can download albums, even episodes of the TV shows I watch. Check the screenshot below to see how fast it is. Click on the images for a better view.

So far I dont regret buying this thing and on the plus side, it has microSD slot so it doubles as a USB Flash Disk. And when I plug it in, I can use it to txt plus if I load 30php, not only do I get to use that for internet browsing, I also get unlimited txt for 24 hours. Compared to SMARTBRO Prepaid which was a worthless piece of crap, this is waaaaay better. As in gigabytes better.
For those of you planning to buy but cant decide, I would definitely without a doubt recommend the Globe Broadband Tattoo Prepaid Kit. You seriously get your money's worth.
Graduation Gift

This is the Nokia N78 which is Lyve's graduation gift to me. Well sort off. We exchanged phones. I gave her my Sony Ericsson W900i and in return she gives me this. Its an awesome phone. It has a 3.2 Megapixel Tessar Lens Camera. It has all the things I need in a phone and the most important thing is that it has Wifi Connectivity. The Navi Wheel is also a nice touch to the phone.
To read about the specs of this phone click here.
I've been nagging her for days that she hasnt given me a graduation gift yet until one night she was hanging at my house. We were watching House and talking over cigarettes. She said that she honestly couldn't think of anything to give me since I already have the things I want. I didnt know if I should be flattered or if I should change my lifestyle. I nagged her to swith phones with me and that'll be my graduation gift from her.
Since she says that she's not really particular about cellphones and I wanted something new to play with, after 2 hours of haggling with her she agreed to switch phones with me under the conditions that:
1.) No takebacks.
2.) She wont shoulder and repairs the N78 needs and I dont shoulder any repairs needed by the W900i in case the phones bug down.
3.) I have to buy my own memory card since she wont give me the 4gig memory card.
4.) I give her the USB Cable of the W900i.
Both phones were in good condition, we checked it ourselves.
I love this new phone. Plus I wont get rid of it even if I get a new phone in the future for the mere fact that it was a gift from someone so it has more value than a brand new phone. I would like to take this chance to thank Lyve for the many years of friendship and patience she has given me. Trust me, she is VERY patient with me and she understands me even on my extremely neurotic-bible thumping-racist-xenophobe days. She has stood by my side and has always had my back even though I have hurt her a lot of times in the past. I know that there is nothing I could do that could repay her for everything she's done for me. But it doesn't mean that I can't try.
Thanks Lyve.

Defying Gravity ala Glee...
Here is the official recording of Kurt and Rachel's version of Defying Gravity from the show Glee. Too bad its only 2 minutes and 22 seconds but its really good. They're blending is fantastic. Lea Michele should be cast as Elphaba even just for one night, lets see if the Gershwin won't run out of seats. Besides, a lot of people say that she looks like Idina Menzel, she'll be able to pull off the physique of Elphaba perfectly. Without further ado, lets listen to Kurt and Rachel as they take a shot at Defying Gravity.

Comment if you think its nice.

Marlboro Black Part 2
"Its Menthol so its healthier than an apple!"-Roger, American Dad
I smoke. Yes I do. Everyone knows including my parents. They've even seen me smoke. This is the brand I smoke, Marlboro Black. Recently my housemate Lady Gaga(not real name) told me that they already stopped making MB because its addictive due to its high menthol content. NO NO NO NO!!!Marlboro Black Menthols are strong Menthol cigarettes, containing .6mg of nicotine and 8mg of tar. Sounds scary doesn't it? But its sooooo damn good.
At first I did not believe what Lady Gaga said but when I went out to buy, all of the shops, malls, and grocery stores were out of it. Even 7/11 was out of Marlboro Black, I took it as a sign that this is it. The end of days. Well the end of my smoking days anyway. My body isn't used to any other cigarette aside from MB. I hope they start making marlboro black again, all Marlboro Black users, lets start a petition, go on rally, anything! I sound like a lunatic dont I? Hahaha.

Graduation Day!!!
Last Saturday, October 24, 2009 I graduated from college. After 5 long years I finally finished my degree. This semester has been very tiring for me but all of my hard work paid off. This is a little different from the one posted on my Facebook because there are some people mentioned here that aren't in my facebook account but I think they read my blog until now.
First I want to thank my MOM who has been with me every step of the way. She paid for my education for as long as I can remember. She has sacrificed a lot including her own happiness and her own time to give me the life I have become accustomed to and to bring me where I am now. Words will never be enough to tell her how grateful I am that among the billions of women in this earth, she became my mother. She has given me unconditional love and support and I will always treasure that. There are times when we dont see each other eye to eye, and we argue about things but at the end of the day, she will always be the woman who gave up so much to ensure my happiness and to make sure that I have a good life up to now. Thank you mom.
To my bestfriend Jacky, Bes thank you for the many years of friendship, patience, understanding, and love that you have given me. You taught me many things and made me realize more. I am happy that I have someone like you in my life. Not only were you a friend, a groupmate, a confidant, you were a sister to me in more ways than one. You know me inside out, and you can read me with your eyes closed. You have supported my decisions and showed me humility and compassion during the darkest of my days You have inspired me to be the best that I can be so you will forever have my gratitude.
To Jedidiah Regacho, a fellow graduate, thank you for being a wonderful friend ever since our SLU days. Now that we are entering a new phase in our lives, maintain the charisma and charm that we all love about you. I know that you will go places and that one day you will be big in the media industry.
To Marilyve Basali, I thank you for the patience and understading you have given me. I know I can be really hard to handle at times, but you never fail to amaze me. You are one of the smartest people I've met and the mere fact that you go out of your way to understand me and make me smile means so much to me.
To Reuben Rivero, thank you for the shipload of laughs and for being there through the good and the bad times. I already told you before, you are like a little brother or sister, whichever, and that I am always a txt or email away. I know you will be a big designer someday so never let the people who hate you bring you down. Always walk with your head high and always be fierce.
To Christine Balionga, thank you for the many years of friendship, for telling me when I do something wrong that I should make amends, for standing by me even if your friends dont like me. You are one of the few people here in Baguio that I look up to. I remember 3 years ago you told me that even though we are the complete opposite of one another we are still close friends and then you asked me why that is. Now I have an answer. A group or clique are people you hang out with and have fun with. Anyone can be part of your clique. A friend is someone who accepts you and understands you unconditionally despite your flaws and imperfections. A friend is someone who will be with you through the good and the bad times. And a friend is someone that even if you haven't seen in years would be someone you would talk to as if you just saw each other yesterday. Thats what we are...Friends...and I am grateful for the friendship you have given me.
To my Film and Theater groupmates, thank you for your support.
To the UB Voices, though it has only been months, I want to thank you guys for accepting me in the group and for recognizing the potential and talent I had. Thank you again for cheering for me during my graduation, It meant a lot that it came from the UB Voices. AGBIAG VOICES!!!
To my housemates Darnell, Marge, Sam, and Ken, you ARE my second family here in Baguio and I wouldn't have it any other way.
To Tiffy Escorpiso and Heidi Dolormente, my bestfriends at peoplesupport, thank you for being my parents, sisters, friends, everything when I was working, and thank you because up to this day, though we do not see each other regularly, we are still close as before.
To my instructors and professors, thank you for the knowledge you have given me over the past 5 years. I wouldnt be here right now without the knowledge you have imparted.
To everyone else who I haven't specifically mentioned, you know who you are, thank you.
To my Blog Readers, though I havent updated my blog in the longest time because of my busy schedule thank you for still supporting me.
Happy Graduation to me!

Je'taime mon BlackBerry
I've always wanted to have a BlackBerry and now I have one. Its the 8830 Worldwide Edition Model. I love this phone, its easy to text because of the QWERTY keypad and the battery lasts long considering I call for about 8 hours a day. Plus, I found a website where I could download games and applications for my BlackBerry. I installed Guitar Hero and it works perfectly. I also installed themes and stuff.
If you're a blackberry user and you want to download free games, applications, themes, and all that, click here
All I can say is, I love my BlackBerry and long live all BlackBerry users.
