Top 10 Pet Peeves

1. People who stand and chat in the middle of the road, mall, office, etc. Gumilid kayong mga leche kayo or wag kayong magreklamo pag may bumunggo sa inyo.

2. People who wear those checkered/plaid scarves. I don't know why but it bugs the hell out of me. Thank God none of my friends use those.

3. Homophobes. Need I say more?

4. I hate religious nutjobs. Seriously, if the only thing that comes out of your mouth is "The bible said..." or "According to the word of the lord...", please feel free to steer clear of me because you would find every word I say offensive.

5. Feeling close. 10 minutes palang tayo magkakilala teh, makapalo ka ah. Sapatusin ko kaya ulo mo?!

6. I hate people who talk in english using this annoying conio accent.Wag kayong trying hard. That maarte english accent is vehemently annoying and you seriously don't need to enunciate everything you say.

7. People who take forever when using an ATM machine. First time niyo?

8. I hate jejemons. Really really hate them. Pag may nagtxt sa akin ng "Eoow pohwzz" or anythig jeje-ish, wagas na mura ang reply na marereceive mula sa akin.

9. When I buy stuff, I hate it when cashiers would ask me if I wanna buy a lighter, a sandwich, a drink, or one of their new products. Kung gusto ko niyan sana kumuha na ako habang namimil so stop asking me. Nyeta.

10. Mga saleslady/salesman na sunod ng sunod sa akin pag nasa loob ng department store. Mukha ba akong shoplifter?!

Mango Tree Bistro Trinoma

A few nights ago, my friends and I went out to dinner. We do that every pay day para naman matikman namin mga sweldo namin.

The truth is, antagal ko nang hindi nakasama mga to sa gays & gurls night out kasi busy-busyhan ako sa work. The last time na nakasama ako sa lakad eh nung sa Fish & Co. kami pumunta and that was way back in July.

I really miss hanging out with them. Imagine, isang grupo na binubuo ng mga bakla at babaeng bakla. Guguho ang langit at lulutang ang impyerno pag tumahimik kami.

For dinner, we went to Mango Tree Bistro in Trinoma. 

Ano bang malay ko na Thai place pala ito. To be fair, this is the best Thai restaurant I've been to but to be honest, I don't like Thai food. Ironic no? Kumakain lang ako sa Thai resto's pag mga friends ko ang may gusto.

While flipping through the Menu, James told me to get a grip because I was white-knuckling it.

Syempre pinicturan ko ang food. I had this thing which I cannot pronounce in Thai but it's chicken in red curry. The waiter said it was going to be really spicy. It wasn't spicy at all but it tasted okay. I'll give it maybe a 5 out of 10. I know subjective ang judgement ko, eh ano ngayon. Ayoko nga ng Thai food eh.

Burn ordered meatballs-something. Masarap siya pero medyo napadami ata ng herbs sa pagtimpla. James and Jeff ordered calamares and spaghetti something. I really liked the pasta dish, it was spicy, it didn't have the sour-y taste I normally get from Thai food and the pasta was cooked well. The calamares was also good.

Decie ordered chicken wings which I forgot to take a picture of. Maynard and Johanne ordered the dishes below. Both of which I don't know how to call.

After eating dinner, dumeretso kami sa Crocodile Grill para uminom ng very very slight pero hindi namin kasama si Decie. She had to go home.

Masaya naman. Naglabasan ang mga chismis sa office, most of which I already knew but there were some na noon ko lang nalaman. How juicy. Iba talaga pag kami ang magkakasama. No holds barred.

Overall, I had so much fun over dinner and drinks. It was a great way to escape from the things that were keeping me busy.

So watch out for our next gays & gurls night out. We're planning to go somewhere in Katipunan.

Hours after 'Dont Ask Don't Tell' was shut down, he posted a video finally showing his face and get this, he came out to his dad. That is one of the hardest things for a gay man to do.

Way Back Home

The last time I went home to La Union was July last year. Because of my schedule at work, I don't really have the time to go to La Union. My mother comes to Manila once a month to visit me anyway.

Last week, I finally went home to La Union. It's a good thing na mabait ang boss ko at pinayagan ako na palitan ang sched ko para makapag-off ako sa araw na yun. One of the perks of my job is that it's easy for me to move my schedule, all I need is a yes from my boss.

Matapos ang ilang oras na byahe, dumating narin ako sa bahay sa La Union. The first thing I did was go to the garden. It's my favorite spot in the house. Nakaka relax. I feel like I am one with nature or something dramatic like that.

Hindi ko pwedeng ikwento ang dahilan kung bakit ako umuwi ng La Union. Pasensya na dear readers, even though my life is an open book, there are things I have to keep private. Things that only my closest friends know.

Pumunta ako sa kwarto ko para kumuha ng gamit. Nagulat ako nung buksan ko ang cabinet ko. I saw clothes that I completely forgot I had. Books, pictures, gadgets, knick knacks. I honestly forgot that I had such things. So I  packed most of the things I saw to bring them to Manila.

I was in La Union for only a few hours. Bumalik din kami kinahapunan.

I was happy that I was able to finally go home to La Union even if it was just for a few hours. At the same time I felt sad because I was reminded of the reason why I don't go there even when I was still in college.

It's because ang hirap umalis sa bahay na yun.

In that house, I am not alone. In that house, there's someone who would take care of me. In that house, I won't have to eat alone.

That house is not just a house.

That house is a home.

Blogger For iPhone

Finally! My prayers have been answered! An official iPhone app has been released!

Google has finally released an app for the iPhone and iTouch. This will be very beneficial for me in case I have  something I wanna blog immediately.

This will also be useful for bloggers who spend more time on their phone than on their computer. Get Globe's unli-surf na para sulit.

The app is quite simple.

Above is a screenshot of it and as you can see, the main screen shows your blog posts both published and unpublished.

There are 3 buttons at the bottom, the left one is for writing a new post, the second is to view your blog and the  one on the right is for the settings.

One thing I'm trying to figure out though is how to check for new comments.

Oh and you can upload pictures directly from your iPhone to your blog post. How cool is that?!

I'll be posting a full review once I've played around with the app. =)
