Hello dear readers Im back.
I have bucket loads of stories to tell you but first let me start with this. I was at SM with Lyve and there was an event at the Atrium sponsored by SMART. My attention was caught by some people who were dancing poi. They were obviously beginners. Lyve and I approached them. I found it amusing because I saw myself in them when I was learning Poi.
I approached one of them who was using a three-tailed fabric poi and I asked if I can try it since they were letting other people try it. The guy gave me the pair he was using and when I started dancing to the beat of the music being played, the expression on everyone's face was priceless. It was a mix of "whoa-what-the-fuck-oh-my-god". It was hilarious. Lyve took some pictures. Here ya go.
Needless to say it was a fun afternoon. The guy who I borrowed the poi from was surprised when I told him that Im actually a firedancer. He even asked me to teach him a few moves.
