Yesterday, November 8, 2009, my cousin, Kate Mangalindan together with her Family and Friends came up to Baguio for this outreach program which she started. Its called school bag project. This aims to donate bags, books, notebooks, pencils, basically school materials to children who were affected by the recent Typhoons Ondoy and Pepeng. The have distributed in Manila, La Union and now Baguio.
It was conducted in the Multipurpose Hall of the Baguio City Hall with the help of Councilor Tabora's Committee. The children together with their teacher and parents came from eight different schools around Benguet.
