Set Design!

Because of boredom and one of the IT people fixing my PC here at the office, I decided to roam around the floor and take pictures of some of the stations. Funny. Tignan nyo naman kasi...iba iba ang set design nila.

Ito and station ni Mitch. Very minimalist. Bakit kaya may spiderman sa isang gilid at may tigre sa isa. Miss Saigon? Dapat ata si Mitch ang pumapasok na naka chinese shirt at hindi ako eh.

Eto namang si Denia, puro documents at kung ano ano pang shit ang nasa desk. Pero...bakit may Camel? Kala ko nga nung una si Bambi. Long-legged eh at walang hump. Hehehe. Tingin kayo sa gilid, di naman sya masyadong uhaw no?

Eto namang si Del, isa ring mahilig sa Camel. Eto na ba ang bagong uso? Mga stuff toy na Camel sa mga work station? May tali pa talaga yung Camel eh.

Behave!

There's a visitor in town who apparently is one of our big bosses. At dahil dyan, kelangan magpakabait kaming lahat. Behave daw. Kaya ayun, bawal mag facebook muna at personal browsing. In my case, mag-blog. Hindi rin kami pwedeng mag-ingay which would need some getting used to since dito sa Poker hindi nawawala ang ingay. You might be wondering kung pano ako nakakapag-update ngayon. Simple. Wala sa paligid ang mga boss.

Ewan ko ba, so far wala namang pakialam ang mga boss kung nag-fafacebook kami or something basta we dont do it when we are taking calls or stuff kasi dapat daw focused kami sa ginagawa namin. My supervisor knows about my blog, almost all the agents here have seen my blog, even HR is aware of it although I don't think they've read it. Wala naman akong sinusulat that would get me in trouble diba? Despite the core-shaking urge I have to write about some people I still don't do it kasi I know when to draw the line.

The truth is konti lang kami dito sa office kaya pag may sinulat ako about someone, halata na kung sino yun kaya I can't do it.

Annyywaaayyy...back to the reason why I made this post dahil medyo sumegway ako dun, tahimik ang department namin ngayon kasi naman ilang feet lang layo ng office ng mga manager. Mahirap na at baka pag nag-ingay kami eh the hand of justice would fall upon us at mabatas kaming lahat.

Kaya ayun tahimik buhay ko ngayon pero sabi ni Mariah lagi daw akong mukhang inspired. Ano nanaman kaya hinithit nito. Haaay... pero... tingin nyo ba inspired ba talaga ako? =)

Pinoy Food!

Found this awesome website with Filipino Recipes. Haaay... gusto ko tuloy pumunta sa grocery store after shift at bumili ng napakaraming ingredients. I might make one or two of these dishes sometime this week since gusto kong magbaon sa work dahil nakakapagod mag isip ng kakainin ko during lunch.

I like the website because the ingredients in their recipes are the kind of crap you can buy from almost any grocery store.

What I got for being 'Rookie of the Month'. Ok narin considering I'm doing what I do best. Mag-ingay. LOL. There were actually other choices but I prefer Sodexho since I'm normally at SM or Trinoma. After work, off to SM I go. ^_^

Award!

May bago nanaman akong award but this time it doesn't involve the words 'verbal', 'written', 'violation', or 'warning'. Totoong award talaga! hahaha. Every month, we have this recognition thing here at the office and since isang buwan na ako sa Poker Department, ako ang 'Rookie of the Month'. Nakaka-flatter naman. Nung una hindi talaga ako naniniwala kasi feeling ko mali mga ginagawa ko. Kinausap ko si Tess kahapon, ang aming minamahal na mommy dito sa team, sabi naman nya nag-meeting daw sila tungkol dito kaya group decision daw ng mga Seniors and Sup ang mga nabigyan ng recognition sa amin. I was overwhelmed yesterday kasi syempre it's my first month here in the department tapos ayun. Nakakatuwa lang.

Eto pala yung reason kung bakit daw ako ang rookie of the month:

WOW. May ganun?! I find it ironic because the reasons here are the same reasons kung bakit ako madalas napagsasabihan. Sorry naman, may ADHD ata ako eh. Makapagreact nga sa mga dahilan na binigay nila. Let me break it down for you guys:

Pag nakikita kong nahihirapan mga kasama ko, tumutulong ako kahit di naman sila humihingi ng tulog. Proactive ba kamo? No no no no. Bored lang.

"He’s been very quick to learn everything necessary to his new position" - humihithit ako ng memo plus gold.

"he’s been an energetic presence with the team, keeping things lively even when there are no calls or mails." - Malikot ako, maingay at hindi mapakali sa pwesto ko kaya kulang nalang tumambling ako sa Ops Floor pag wala akong ginagawa. Misan ginagawa kong carousel upuan ko or bigla bigla nalang akong makikita sa kabilang bay. Gaya nga ng madalas sabihin sa akin ng dati kong housemate na si Darnell, "aligaga ka nanaman". After 3 months ko nalaman meaning nun. Inaassume ko nalang na compliment. Hahaha.

Anyway, yan ang interpretation ko dyan na para sa akin naman eh compliment kasi makulit naman talaga ako. Sorry naman, adik eh. Pero at least, happy ako dito. I said it before na pag hindi ko nagustuhan buhay dito eh babalik ako ng Baguio. So far im having fun, so far I'm starting to have really good friends here. Who knows what tomorrow brings and what else is out there for me but for now, dito muna ako because this Baguio boy is still having the time of his life.

Because of rain and its payday!

I went to TriNoma even if I wasn't really feeling well. Ayun nagyosi muna ako dun tapos nagdinner sa Tokyo Tokyo. Eto ang aking dinner. Saka na ang diet dahil sweldo ko ngayon.

I find it strange na hindi ko maubos to eh dati dati naman nauubos ko to at nagugutom pa ako pagkatapos. Pero kanina, hindi ko talaga maubos and whats weird is, thats the third this happened. As in kalahati palang eh busog na busog na ako. Saya diba?

At dahil umuulan na parang walang bukas kanina, I passed by Folded and Hung to buy see if there's something I could buy.

Akalain nyo, may nabili talaga ako, Hahaha. Actually the reason I passed by F&H is because they sell my second favorite scent. When it comes to the cologne I use, my favorite is Davidoff pero kamusta naman ang 5k per bottle diba, second would be Illegal Homme from F&H, third would be Clinique Happy for men and last would be J3 from JC. I also like some of the colognes from Oxygen. 

I actually prefer version 1.0 of Illegal Homme but version 2.0 also smells good. It smells more musky. Buti nalang kasi this was the last bottle at TriNoma, hopefully meron ulit in the future. Buti nalang hindi nagtitipid sa paper bag ang F&H.

And because the rain was unbelievably strong, I couldn't get a ride. As in no taxis, no jeeps, no shit. Ayun, I had to walk from TriNoma to Project 6. I'd normally get annoyed but this time I actually enjoyed it. The walk was good for me, refreshing to say the least. Yun lang medyo mabigat bag ko kasi may mga kung ano ano pa akong binili sa TriNoma na siniksik ko sa bag ko para hindi mabasa.

Anyway, may ipopost ako bukas, something good that happened at work. Bukas ko na ipopost because Im really sleepy and tired.

Heads-up!

Right now, we're having this Poker Heads-up tournament thing at the office. Ewan ko ba kung ano trip ni DT at bigla syang nagpa-tournament ng ganito. Tinatanong naming lahat kung ano ang price pero ayaw sabihin ni DT. Asus.

So ayun, tinatapos ngayon ang first round ng mga players, ewan ko kung ilan na ang natapos but I had mine yesterday against Alvin. It was a fun game, it lasted about 10 mins. I forgot which hand I had but I won. LOL. Nagtatawanan lang kami habang naglalaro.

Nakakatuwa kalaro si Alvin, call lang ng call saka puro jokes lang kami. Si DT yung nagdedeal ng cards, ayun nakikijoke din si kuya,
